Daniel Etherton - Good in Goodbye/Sand

This is officially a double-A side single but in reality it's two sides of the same coin from London based Daniel Etherton. 'Good in Goodbye' was inspired by being asked to write a eulogy for his grandfather which forced Etherton to look for the positives in sad times. A lonely piano melody and Etherton's soulful but emotional vocals bring you in to the present and a place that demands you deal with whatever emotion is in your heart right now. By contrast, 'Sand' has a little more lightness to it with an acoustic strum giving this a more David Gray vibe as well as the best bits of James Blunt. Daniel Etherton has a rare knack for tapping in to raw emotions and keeping that at the forefront without any loss of melody or songcraft.
