Before we get on to the music, I just want to draw your attention to the video which, aside from dogs, features the one thing guaranteed to make me go gooey eyed over a music video; a muppet. Unknown Mortal Orchestra have gone and got themselves a bonafide, dyed in the wool Muppet for their visual accompanying new single 'That Life' and it is a very special cherry on a super cool cake. The laid back guitars pump along nicely with a cheeky beat and vocals that sound like they were recorded in 78th take of an all night session. There's a Mungo Jerry meets the Faces vibe going on but with the freshness of Vampire Weekend running through the middle. And there's a muppet in the video, did I mention the muppet?
