I am fasting coming to the conclusion that Jessica Wilde is one of the most underrated artists in the UK right now and new single 'Daylight' might just be the tune that gets everyone else on board. Wilde blends soul, R'n'B, Jazz, Hip-Hop and pop on this track as she switches from breathy vocals to rap and then to powerful melodies like she was born to do it. The key to this lady's talents, however, are her lyrics which are so honest, raw and direct that it might just put some people off. Then again, I have a hunch that more people will be turned on by this truth-telling style than turned off by it so go ahead and prove me wrong.
