Berlin is just one of those places you go to for musical inspiration so it's no surprise to find wondrous Norwegian artist EERA creating in this fine city. New single 'Ladder' rattles and rolls with superb stomping energy, juxtaposed perfectly with a vocal that starts softly and builds like Tanya Donnelly. As the guitars layer and churn you can't help but get swept away in the tension that is just begging to be released in triumphant glory. Stylish but with a whole lot of substance.
