I am an absolute sucker for the Morcheeba, Zero 7 and Sneaker Pimps vibe in this new release from Icelandic trio Vök. 'Skin' has that intoxicating blend of cool, icy vocals and laid back clubby vibes that lift in the chorus to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. The energy gives you that nervous excitement that you get when you're dancing with someone that you just want to kiss but you've got to wait for the timing to be just right. Perfectly poised, supremely cool and incredibly moreish.
