Brighton out Opus Kink are puttin the sex in sextet thanks to new single 'This Train'. A rambunctious and unforgiving raw drum beat gets things moving before the doleful vocal tones and a fuzzy guitar melody join in to ratchet the energy up. The horns bring that sex appeal as the horses gallop on apace and the band find their niche somewhere between Tankus the Henge and the Blockheads which is an exceptional patch to settle on. The raw vibe and unbridled energy on this more than hints at intense and frenetic live shows which, let's face it, we all need in our lives right about now.
