Bath quartet Novatines are back and I, for one, couldn't be happier. The band's new single, 'Joyride', bursts in through the window like Jason Statham during a roof top chase in New York and we're off and running. The drums crash, the guitars sear through your mind and the vocals are as powerful as any rock vocals around at the moment. If you like your music loud but with melody and some lyrics that you can really hook in to then this is for you. Also, if you're a fan of the much missed NARCS then you might just have found a new favourite band.
