This is a real meeting of minds and styles as Tom Morello's collaboration with Pussy Riot is given the Bloody Beetroots remix treatment. 'Weather Strike' has that unmistakable Morello riff at the start it's kinda weird hearing the the female vocals of Pussy Riot at first until guitars step back and then it starts to make sense. This song is a saber-toothed kitten with coquettish vocals in the verse but snarling, writhing choruses all stitched together by the electro-noodlings of the Bloody Beetroots. Not a song to be messed with and not a tune to be underestimated.
