JEEN - SINGLE REVIEW

JEEN - Better Drugs/Fair To Move On

Release Date: Out Now

A couple of tracks from solo artist JEEN now starting with the grunge-pop of 'Better Drugs'. JEEN's sleepy, laid-back vocals clash brilliantly with the crunchy, raw guitars and thumping beat which creates a real 90s slacker vibe. The chorus is triumphant and the loud-vs-quiet motif is deployed with aplomb. 'Fair To Move On' has a similar vibe but with a more care-free melody in the chorus that makes you want to poke your head out through the sun roof in a limousine and scream at the world at 2.00am with half a bottle of bourbon in your hand. This is raw music with emotion at its heart but a real sense of wanting to get away, change the scenery and make a difference.
