complicated beauty. Owen Duff takes us on a synth odyssey on ‘One Word’ which
moves through ponderous and introspective verses on to choruses which feel like
Elton John meets Scissor Sisters and Peter Gabriel in jaunty, playful mood.
This is a timeless tune that feels both modern and retro but always charming
and that is a rare find in these days of style before substance in all things
artistic.
