Originally from Albania, Xhoana X has relocated to LA which
perfectly suits her glamorous and exotic style. ‘Deepest Pleasure’ is deeply
sexual and supremely confident which is a heady and hedonistic combination but
this is about more than just lust. There is style in the vocal performance with
its hypnotic tones and there is substance in the bass tones and shuffling beat
creating the aura of inevitability and intensity. If you’re looking for
reference points then I guess the likes of Portishead, Sia and Goldfrapp come
close but Xhoana X has a darkly delicious sound all of her own and it’s a sound
