It’s hard to avoid adding a ‘T’ to the title of new single from Italian trio Bee Bee Sea but this is no straight Beatles cover, this is more of an homage. ‘Day Ripper’ cracks off at the kind of pace a young Supergrass used to maintain with youthful glee and keeps you pinned to the back of your seat with a healthy amount of G-Force. The guitars are hypnotic, the drums unrelenting and the vocals full of indie style and sneer that makes you want to dance shoulder-to-sweaty-shoulder with other living, breathing human beings. There is an album to follow in October and, based on the single releases, it promises to be a lot of fun.
