MILO GORE – SINGLE REVIEW

Milo Gore – Green Eyes
Milo Gore - Green Eyes

Release Date: Out Now

Westcountry alt-pop-punkers Milo Gore have been steadily building a reputation that extends beyond their Cornish bolt-hole and new single ‘Green Eyes’ does nothing to halt that progress. This five-and-a-half-minute epic gets going without any delay in a flurry of guitars and then emerges in to a tune that blends the frantic melodic nature of Foals and the Maccabees with the angularity of early Arctic Monkeys and the desperate energy of Mystery Jets. Those searing guitars are the star here but they are held together by the smooth, confident vocals and kept on track by a tight rhythm section that will have indie hearts pulsating and pairs of Vans jumping up and down as soon as this sodding lockdown is over.

Live Dates:

3rd May – The Bunkhouse, Swansea w/Flowers of Palo
4th May – LS6 Café, Leeds
10th May – Palacio Lounge, Falmouth w/Flowers of Palo
