her name, Rise is continuing on her quest to put the artistry back in music.
Forthcoming new single ‘Radio Silence’ finds the Westcountry chanteuse in
reflective mood as the meandering melodies weave in and out of traditional time
frames and directions to tangle you up. Rise’s voice is reliably ethereal,
powerful and haunting with a sense of that moment when the Summer sun is met by
Autumn winds and the seasons prepare to shift. There’s a new album coming later
this year and I am soooo looking forward to wrapping myself up in it when the
nights close in.
