Detroit outfit the Lows have a
serious rock sound for you to wrap your ears around and if you need any
convincing to listen to it then now this; they have a bass player called Wolf. ‘Love
Xctinction’ is a riff heavy Foo Fighters meets Buckcherry via early Aerosmith
kinda track with thumping drums and a formidable sense of rock’n’roll about it.
The trio of guitars unleashed by Angelo Coppola, Nick Behnan and Brandon McNall
is hugely powerful and I’m genuinely pleased that there are still bands out
there willing to put this much meat on the bones of a rock track. I’m definitely
in favour of meat.
