Grammy Award winning Fantastic Negrito might not be a household name yet but for those in the know he is an artist that you just can’t ignore. His new single, ‘That Suit Won’t Come Off’, only serves to further a reputation as a Blues pioneer taking the genre to dark and futuristic places with slathered organ and tremulous guitar notes combining beautifully. The lurching beat and the Hozier-esque undertones are rich, sublime and, above all else, encapsulating as is the video which features blind choreographer and dancer Odil Gerfaut. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Fantastic Negrito is an innovator and long may that continue.
