Anastasia Coburg is the one woman
powerhouse behind Koburg and from the press pictures it won’t surprise you that
she splits her time between creating symphonic rock and modelling. On the music
side of things, ‘Karma is a Bitch’ is apparently the tale of a Dominatrix
taking control from a womanising man all played out over a soundtrack that is
somewhere between Evanescence and Linkin Park with theatrical guitar solos,
violin flourishes and doomy atmospherics. If they did Phantom of the Opera as a
futuristic reboot then this is what it would sound like and, in a role
reversal, Koburg would a brilliant female phantom seducing the young male
singer with her undeniably impressive vocal talents.
