FIONA GREY – SINGLE REVIEW

Fiona Grey – Saviour
Fiona Grey - Saviour

Release Date: Out Now

From Chicago via Los Angeles comes Fiona Grey and her theatrical pop sound. Grey’s new single ‘Saviour’ starts with a dramatic but subdued intro before developing and growing in to something befitting the West End or Broadway. Imagine Andrew Lloyd Webber and Evanescence collaborating on a new musical score for Lady Gaga to deliver about the emergence of the female voice in the 1950s and you’re at least in the right ball park. Dramatic melodies, shuddering drums and Grey’s expressionistic voice delivering lines like “I won’t be your trophy wife and you can’t be my saviour” with devastating power all make for a fantastic listening experience and the kind of song that can be belted after one too many cocktails on a friends night out.
