WRECKLESS ERIC – SINGLE REVIEW

Wreckless Eric – Tiny House (Southern
Wreckless Eric - Tiny House
Domestic)

Release Date: Out Now

Legendary solo artist Wreckless Eric is back with a new album and ahead of that release comes single ‘Tiny House’ to shake you out of your Goggle Box slumber. The melodic but rattling guitars will appeal to fans of Looker, the Lovely Eggs and the more upbeat moments of the Fall and Eric’s sneering vocal will remind many of Mark E. Smith or Iggy Pop. The thing is, Eric has been around so long that comparisons surely work the other way round with so many artists owing their direction to the man. Whichever way you look at it, this is two minutes and two seconds of wondrously raw, jarring garage rock from the East Sussex born cousin of Gemma Arterton…..apparently.
