CAFÉ SPICE – SINGLE REVIEW

Café Spice – Bn2
Cafe Spice - Bn2

Release Date: Out Now

It’s a bold move naming your band after a Café but Iceland went and named their country after a frozen food supermarket and that seems to be working out so who am I to judge? Anyhoo, Manchester based trio Café Spice can call themselves whatever they want if they keep producing music as beautiful as new single ‘Bn2’. The trio’s new song is a gentle, babbling brook of a song that takes the haunting melodies and dreamy harmonies of Wildwood Kin and lays them out in the dappled sunshine of an English meadow. There is an acoustic guitar and the most basic of rhythms in there but the real star here is the sweet, sweet tones created by those three voices weaving together like the strawberry blonde hairs of a plait on the kind of girl you fall in love with during the summer. Pure and beautiful.
