There’s definitely a snow ball of
momentum coming out of Wales at the moment and Estrons are more than a few snowflakes
of that particular ball. New single ‘Body’ is an utterly intense experience wrapped
in a seriously infectious melody and presented in a box made of the kind of
video that makes you want to hit the little replay button on Youtube the second
its finished. Musically, this is based around a fuzzed up riff and punchy beat straight
outta the Idles playbook but then the vocals kick in courtesy of Tali Kallstrom
and you know we’re on a different plane altogether. One of the many things I
love about this track is that its entirely primed for a dirty dance mix (Deadmau5
perhaps?) and the chorus lyrics of “I can do that, only better” and “You make
my body go oh oh oh” are perfect for dancing your tits off in a sweaty club of
any persuasion.
