ECHO TOWN – SINGLE REVIEW

Echo Town – No Different
Echo Town - No Different

Release Date: Out Now

Cornish brothers Ric and Rob Harrison have been steadily and relentlessly making a name for themselves over the last couple of years with energetic live shows and infectiously optimistic tunes. The duo’s star is in the ascendancy and with a new album on the horizon new single ‘No Different’ is the perfect warning shot to make you sit up and pay attention. ‘No Different’ is the kind of chilled and uplifting acoustic driven track you might expect from Cornwall but there’s a message behind this track despite its Jack Johnson meets Wille & the Bandits vibes. Semi-rapped verses and sing-along choruses that repeatedly force home the message of inclusiveness would work well as an anti-Brexit anthem but I feel the optimistic tones might fall on 52% deaf ears sadly. If you still believe in the power of oneness and opening up your heart as well as our borders then give this a listen.
