Release Date: Out Now
Cornish chaps Ennor have essentially written a love letter to their favourite part of the world, the coast of their native county and it makes you yearn for the Cornish landscape, even if you’ve never seen it. ‘West Coast’ is full rolling George Ezra-esque guitars and triumphant drums layered over with the tremulous, Bee Gees inspired vocals that speak of love and a sense of belonging. Indeed, the bands name means ‘the land’ in Cornish and although the music isn’t the folky roots music you might expect from such a band, the impassioned indie is still compelling stuff that makes you want to go on a road trip and get lost in windy lanes on the way to secluded beaches.
