Not many artists get away with a two-letter
name but Toronto’s Bo is making this bold move as she releases her single ‘Baby
Come Back’. The tune itself is a sparse, Lana Del Ray style number with
rhythmic pulses and gentle synth probes that give Bo’s breathy vocals space to
explore like smoke swirling in a candle-lit club. In fact, aside from needing a
few good meals and a pair of trousers that have been stitched properly, Bo has
the capacity to make more than splash in the pop ocean on the basis of this
tune. Classy, if heartbroken, stuff.
