BOYS - SINGLE REVIEW

Boys - Summer Of Love
Boys - Summer Of Love

Release Date: 21st July 2014

This West London trio are the second act in a week to rock up at my door without a drummer which is, frankly, a bit cheeky. Nevertheless, Boys have created a subdued indie-pop delight in 'Summer Of Love', complete with scratchy guitars, jangly melodies and the sounds of seaside in the background. As lo-fi tracks go this is pretty awesome and fans of Lush, Teenage Fanclub, early Weezer and generally just bumming around in the summer sun will love this. It seems that after a good slew of bands without bassists, the indie world is now having a go at leaving the drummer behind. Let's see how that works out, shall we....?
